The Longford Westmeath Riders Club (LWRC) are a group of motorcyclists, who despite the name, hail from all four provinces of Ireland although the majority hail from the midlands. The club meet on a monthly basis for the usual meeting, and as often as possible for ride-outs, Sunday spins, or a blast off to watch the road racing! The club venture further afield than Ireland, with a regular trip to the Scottish Highlands and European club trips every second year. Individual members often head off in smaller groups to foreign destinations. The last few years have seen memorable trips to Scotland, the Nurburgring, the TT races, the Alps and the bike show at the NEC in Birmingham. Some of our club members are also regular participants at track day sessions. Back in 2000, we organised our first Classic Bike show, and this years’ event promises to be bigger and better than ever before. If you’re interested in joining our club, drop us an e-mail!
